Liverpool insert good behaviour clause in Mario Balotelli signing
Mario Balotelli will have to accept a good behaviour clause in his contract before his £16m transfer to Liverpool can be agreed, according to reports.
Balotelli flew into in England to complete the deal yesterday with it all expected to be tied up in the next 24-hours.
The Reds held talks with the Serie A club with a loan deal initially touted before the Italians insisted any transfer would have to be permanent.
Milan valued the player at £20m but were happy to accept the lower offer with them so desperate to get rid of the forward, who has been linked with a move to Arsenal and Tottenham this tranfer window.
The former Manchester City striker had been offered to Chelsea and Arsenal last month after a series of incidents and indifferent displays resulted in the board deciding to cut their losses.
Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is looking for a striker having lost Luis Suarez and sees the troublesome Italian as the man to fire the goals needed to replace the Uruguayan.
