Man Utd axe Anderson, Nani and Wilfried Zaha from squad
New Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal has exiled Nani, Anderson and Wilfried Zaha from the first-team squad in a brutal show of power, according to reports.
The 63-year-old was forced into an embarrassing back-track, though, when he was forced to call Nani into the squad for yesterday’s home 2-1 defeat to Swansea because of the injury crisis that has engulfed the club.
It does not alter Van Gaal’s thinking though, with the £60m trio now set to be on their way out of the club.
The attackers have been forced to train at different times to the main squad, eat away from first-team stars and excluded from team briefings and game play strategy sessions.
It is a major blow for young England star Zaha and Portugal international Nani, who both hoped to play a part under Van Gaal after a difficult campaign when David Moyes was in charge last season.
But it underlines the ruthlessness of Van Gaal, who has made it clear who is a part of his squad, the Sunday People reports.
