Angel Di Maria confirms Man Utd exit plan
Manchester United star Angel Di Maria has once again discussed his plans upon leaving Old Trafford.
Shortly after signing for the Red Devils, the Argentina international revealed that he wanted to make a return to first club Rosario Central his next move.
And he has now reiterated that he will quit United to return to his homeland at some stage.
But he says he doesn’t know if national team-mate Lionel Messi, who came through the ranks at Central’s local rivals Newell’s Old Boys, will also make the move so that the pair can go head-to-head in the derby match.
He told Infobae: “I’m going back to play the Central-Newell’s clasico. I don’t know what he’ll do.”
But Di Maria also indicated his annoyance that his various sizeable transfer fees don’t seem to have benefited his old side.
He revealed: “Every time I went from one club to another, Central got money. It’s a bit complicated, always the same.
“I don’t know where the money goes… they never fix things which are wrong.”
