Victor Valdes on his battle to leave Man Utd

Manchester United goalkeeper Victor Valdes has given the greatest insight to date of just how miserable his life has become at Old Trafford.
The former Barcelona star was frozen out of the squad by manager Louis van Gaal at the start of the season amid reports he had refused to play for the club’s under-21 side last term.
Since then, he has been training alone and tipped to make a move away from the club. It sounds like that is exactly what he would like to do – if only he was released by United.
He posted a photo on Twitter showing him holding a night that reads (in Spanish): “What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger.”
Valdes wrote an accompanied message (also in Spanish) that said: “Not to disappoint those who wish to come to see me play, my motivation.
“I struggle to be free and enjoy my profession.”
