Sports nutrition brand Maximuscle has launched the Protein Project: a New Year challenge to you, the gentlemen of Britain, to get fitter, slimmer, stronger, faster and better.
At the same time as you’re improving your physique, three normal guys will be undertaking a 12-week challenge, mentored by three of the UK’s most prominent sportsman, to battle it out for a £5,000 cash prize. The idea is that you follow and join the three finalists on their journey.
You can access open forums involving the Maximuscle nutritionists and personal trainers, mass-participation events that will be run by the Maximuscle athletes over the next few months and Q&A sessions with the three mentors.
The Protein Project is Maximuscle’s way of tackling the problem of time vs. healthy-lifestyle problem head-on. The project aims to show you that you can build a healthy lifestyle around a busy work-life balance, and that protein plays an important part in that.
It not only performs a key role in the structure of muscle tissue but is also vital for virtually all cell functions in the body. Regardless of how much you exercise, it is important that you get enough protein – anyone can benefit.
So, to kickstart your New Year fitness kick, just leave a comment below telling us which of these starter packs would help you. The competition closes at 23.59pm on Thursday, January 31.
Make sure you leave your comment using a real email address so that we can get in touch if you win. The winner will be picked at random.
