It becomes rather difficult for Newcastle United striker to make a moral and religious stance over the club’s association with emergency loan company Wonga when pictures emerge of him wilfully ignoring other laws set out in his religion.

Just because there is a reputation that Americans don’t know enough about football doesn’t mean that Chelsea should be forgiven for selling off shirts with names spelt incorrectly, just on the proviso that they won’t notice the error.
It is the second time that the club’s US website has cocked up recently after they were also spotted listing Arsenal FC branded onesies by mistake.
We’re pretty sure that David Luiz won’t be too impressed with his name being spelt ‘Davis’ either, but quite why you wouldn’t double check everything you put on the official site we don’t really know.
