QPR striker Loic Remy has been arrested on suspicion of rape following allegations of a gang rape.

The 26-year-old France international and two other men who were arrested in Fulham, west London, are currently being questioned in connection with an alleged rape on a 34-year-old woman on May 6 by three men. read more »

Mbia tweeted Joey Barton – who moved to Marseille on loan as part of the deal that saw Mbia move to Loftus Road – asking if they could swap back.

Both QPR and Reading were both officially relegated to the Championship after their dreadful 0-0 draw. Neither side had a golden chance to win the game, and in truth neither side deserved to in a match that lacked any discernible quality.

For QPR, it is the end of a shambolic season which saw them gamble on staying up, but come up woefully short.

So, presumably both players and manager were gutted about the dreaded drop? Well, not exactly. Harry Redknapp and Jose Bosingwa were caught laughing just seconds after relegation had been confirmed.

You might see it as a pedantic thing to point out, but it does act as something of a slap in the face for the fans who had made the trip.

Adel Taarabt is never usually too far away from controversy. QPR fans have to watch his fleeting moments of sheer brilliance sprinkled amid a lot of frustrating and baffling displays.

But he can rarely have been quite as frustrating is in the closing stages of yesterday’s 1-1 draw with relegation rivals Wigan. With 10-man QPR winning 1-0, the Latics got an injury time free-kick on the edge of the box. read more »
