Well, one Icelandic side have taken the opportunity to form some publicity of their own, by essentially ripping off the advert, creating a homemade version involving a load of whitey yellow paint! read more »

Presumably this is a spoof (we really hope not), but if it is someone has gone to a lot of effort to create a pretty decent LinkedIn profile for out-of-work football manager Alex McLeish.
The profile on the corporate social networking site is fairly up-to-date, making mention of McLeish’s recent brief stint at Nottingham Forest.
Listed among key responsibilities is: “Responsible for the efficient, effective and prudent management of the overall football budget set by the board of directors of the club’s business sector, enabling a sustainable operation.”
He’s been endorsed for his negotiation, management and budgets skills, but not for his football and team-building skills.
With the club once again suffering a quiet transfer window (spending £9million on a left back because Kieran Gibbs is injured and Andre Santos is bloody awful), some clever prankster has created a fake eBay account for the club. read more »
