Northern Irish nutters change their names by deed poll
What can you say? I don’t know whether to laugh or cry after watching the Belfast version of David and Victoria Beckham talk through getting their name changed by deed poll and a subsequent conversation with the genuine, bungee-jumping David Beckham.
BBC’s unfortunate technical problems
A technical problem with the BBC’s homepage has reduced the mysterious deaths of civilians in the Democratic Republic of Congo to mere sport. In the screen dump above, you can clearly see that the Beeb’s top sport story for the day is DR Congo ‘civilian deaths’ probed. Either MSN have employed a bloody good medium to contact the actor who passed away in 1988, or someone has messed up. We would say they deserved the sack but as Juande Ramos is still in a job it is difficult to make a good case for it!

FC Politehnica Timisoara was bought by Italian businessman Claudio Zambon and moved to the outskirts of Bucharest (which is probably favourable in comparison to a move to Milton Keynes!). The understandably disgruntled former owners of the club set-up a new club in Timisoara called FC Timisoara. Read more »
