Bolton striker Johan Elmander got tired of being screamed at by Gary Megson
Johan Elmander has hit out at former Bolton Wanderers manager Gary Megson, blaming him for the poor form that blighted the start of his career at the Reebok Stadium.
The Swede, a £10 million buy from Toulouse, reckons Megson’s style of management did nothing to help him find his feet at the club.
He said: “It doesn’t help to stare and scream at me. I got tired of it.
“Coyle is a great coach, who I enjoy working with. As soon as he came to the club I started to play well.”
And you couldn’t tell what he was saying even if he did choose to scream at you.
