Robbie Savage attacks Derby fans on Twitter
Everyone knows he’s a bit of a twit
As we well know, Robbie Savage is a man that both loves an opinion and likes people hearing said opinions. Whilst in truth that is a stance that I admire, Robbie took things perhaps a slight too far when Derby fans reacted badly during their side’s 0-0 draw against Millwall:
As a derby player at home you need your fans to get behind you not boo after 5 mins!! The younger lads need you 4 points out of 6
Yes we didnt play well yes you pay our wages yes you can boo! But how does that help your team. It helped Millwall
I feel sorry for the real fans ie Millwall in cup 2 last year 10,000 at home not playing well sang there (sic) hearts out the lads were inspired
Oh by the way we kept a clean sheet and drew for those who thought we lost 6-0
Robbie was able to forget about his troubles by going to the darts final, but the same cannot be said for the Derby fans who chastised him over the social networking site for his comments.
And after seeing their side not win in three home games, win one in seven, and last week lose 5-2 to local rivals Forest, it is easy to see why they might not all be happy.
And with prices on the day for adults priced at £39, it is easy to side with the fans.
