New Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas thinks Jose Mourinho is trying to get his job

Andre Villas-Boas might have stepped into the vacancy that has never really been filled since his mentor Jose Mourinho left Chelsea – but back in his first stint at Stamford Bridge the ex-Porto boss thought people were trying to pinch his job.

This humorous archive footage shows Anvilbo having a TV interview hijacked by Mourinho and other members of the Chelsea staff.

He joked: “I don’t think so. They are trying now to get into the image. I was giving a very nice interview and now they are trying to get my job.”

He starts the clip by saying that he spends most of his time on the laptop making sure his scouting reports are to Mourinho’s satisfaction.
