Manchester United midfielder Anderson becomes accidental breeder of massive dogs
Injured Manchester United star Anderson has found a temporary new career as a dog breeder after a pet shop mix-up.
The Brazilian decided to buy two huge Bernese mountain dogs as pets, but failed to specify that he wanted two of the same sex. He is now the proud owner of 10 canine companions.
Several United team-mates have reportedly bought dogs from the same shop in Salford, but as yet none of the others have fallen into the same trap. Any other squad members wanting their own Bernese will no longer need to visit the shop. Anderson’s randy pair have already produced a litter of eight.
With each dog likely to weigh around eight stone when fully grown, Anderson is keen to shift a few.
A United source told The Sun: “He’s been asking the lads if they fancy a dog — they all think it’s hilarious.
“He’s even approached people in parks while walking the dogs to see if he can find any takers. But at the moment he’s stuck with them and these things grow to be enormous.
“He’ll have to buy a castle to house them all.”
