Bournemouth chairman in live radio swearing rant
An interesting day to be a Bournemouth fan. Their side was beaten 1-0 at home by MK Dons, but that was very much the start of the craziness. Towards the end of the game rumours began to surface that the wife of the club’s billionaire Russian owner had forced herself into the home changing room to deliver a team talk to the players in an attempt to gee them up.
When this topic was raised on BBC 5Live phone-in 606, the show would have been happy to welcome Bournemouth Chairman Eddie Mitchell ringing in to discuss the issue. However, as the video above demonstrates, Mitchell simply disgraced his club by swearing three times at presenter Mark Chapman.
It has to be said that Chapman acted with great dignity in asking producers to end the call with Mitchell due to his language.
