Poland coach Franciszek Smuda reckons star striker Robert Lewandowski is heading to Manchester United
International tournaments are a great opportunities for coaches who are usually restricted to monthly meet-ups with their players to get the scent of the transfer window in their noses once again.
That scent has become too much for Poland coach Franciszek Smuda to resist and he’s gone and stuck his oar into club transfer affairs.
Smuda says that the Poles’ star man, Borussia Dortmund striker Robert Lewandowski, is Manchester United-bound.
According to Reuters, he said: “In my opinion, in a moment they will be gone from Borussia.
“‘Lewy’ is going to Manchester United, Kuba [Blaszczykowski] also somewhere in England, Piszczek to Real (Madrid).”
“They have a goal and they want to grow. I base the squad on them.”
You can imagine that Borussia Dortmund are delighted to hear Smuda’s thoughts on the subject.
