Bet’s be ‘avin you: Football betting tips for 17-18 November
The first bet this week combines a couple of niche selections on the two Sky televised games this weekend. Given that 11 of the last 12 games between Arsenal and Spurs have contained more than two goals, and both sides look liable to conceded at the moment a bet of both sides to score is a must. On Sunday Fulham face Sunderland, and given that there have been just eight goals in the last eight games between the two clubs, this could well be another low-scoring affair. My head says 1-0 Fulham, but I’ll stick for under 2.5 goals at evens.
£10 on both Arsenal and Spurs to score and under 2.5 goals in Fulham v Sunderland gets you £36
Up to the SPL next, where Leigh Griffiths of Hibs is essentially ripping things up. He’s on loan from the Championship and is the top scorer in Scotland, which doesn’t do a massive amount for the reputation of the league. Still, his Hibs side are top of the pile and travel to propper-uppers Dundee. Bank on Griffiths scoring at anytime at plus a little squeak on him netting first.
£10 on Leigh Griffiths to score any time gets you £22
£5 on Leigh Griffiths first scorer gets you £25
Next is a speculative draw double bet. I just can’t see Chelsea winning at the Hawthorns on Saturday given their slight dip in form and the Baggies’ hugely impressive displays. With Lukaku out through loan shenanigans a draw might be the intelligent choice, which I also thing will be matched when Reading face Everton. Eleven draws between those two in 21 games this season tells its own story.
£5 on Reading v Everton and West Brom v Chelsea being draws gets you £72
Finally, a £10 accumulator. Crystal Palace sit top of the Championship and therefore look good value at evens to beat a Derby that lost in London last time out at Millwall. Add to that in-form Bournemouth in League One and Fleetwood beating lowly Plymouth and you have a reasonable shout at decent profit. Good luck to you all.
£10 on Crystal Palace, Bournemouth and Fleetwood gets you £64
