Everton’s Marouane Fellaini to dye his hair silver for charity
You might have thought that Marouane Fellaini’s hair couldn’t really get much better, but your limited imagination is about to get blown away.
The Belgian has vowed to dye his famous afro silver if football fans can help him reach his charity fundraising target of £25,000.
The midfielder is raising money for Everton’s Club in the Community scheme, and the club’s official website explains the hair promise further.
“To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Blues’ official charity, the midfielder has committed to dye his famous ‘fro’ silver – but only if Evertonians can reach a fundraising target of £25,000.
“The Belgian international will put his iconic hair in the hands of celebrity stylist Josh Wood (an artist’s impression of how this might look is above!) to help boost the charity’s jubilee fundraising mission.
“With only a couple of weeks to go until the end of the season, Fellaini is calling on supporters to back his charity challenge today.”
It’s all for a good cause, and Fellaini will look a bloody treat, so why not make a donation? All you need to do is visit justgiving.com/fellainifro or text FELI50 with the amount that you would like to donate to 70070, e.g. FELI50 £5 to 70070
