Video: Manchester United legend Ryan Giggs takes his UEFA Pro Licence

David Moyes will be hoping to get off to a flying start at Manchester United – because Ryan Giggs is taking his coaching badges.

The United legend has been talking about his plans for the future as he works towards his UEFA Pro Licence.

Giggs recognises he has to start putting plans in place for beyond his incredible playing career.

He said: “It’s near the end. I’ve got to start thinking of what I’m going to do afterwards, really.”

Although he’s not absolutely set on a managerial career, the prospect seems to appeal.

He added: “I don’t know where I’m going to be a coach or a manager – if I decide to go into coaching -but obviously it’s exciting for me.”
