Kitman: New Tottenham home and away kits launched
Tottenham have launched their new home and away kits for the 2013/14.
The first things to say is that’s a bold sponsor’s logo. Hewlett Packard are certainly getting value for money compared to previous Spurs sponsors.
The kits are again made by Under Armour and are said to be a nod to the club’s kits of the 1960s. The spiel accompanying kit launches are usually full of bizarre claims, but this one has a couple of gems.
Firstly, the ‘cadet blue’ featured in the home kit is said to be said to be the darkest blue ever worn by Spurs.
Secondly, the shirts are reportedly 50 per cent faster drying than previous shirts. Great news for sweaty fans.
The away comes in a bright blue, which is being described as ‘Capri blue’.
Spurs will be delighted to see Gareth Bale fronting the new kit launch. Let’s face it, if he hadn’t have been, it would have set plenty of tongues wagging (including ours).
