Oscar, Eden Hazard and Willian set to be Chelsea’s first-choice attacking midfield trio
One of the most interesting selection dilemmas of the season is likely to be how Jose Mourinho chooses to deploy the wealth of attacking midfielder options at his disposal.
The Chelsea boss has Oscar, Willian, Juan Mata, Eden Hazard, Kevin de Bruyne and Andre Schurrle all vying for the three slots likely to be available to them in Mourinho’s line-up.
According to the Mail on Sunday, the Special One currently favours the triumvirate of Oscar, Eden Hazard and Willian.
Both Oscar and Hazard have looked nailed-on to be regular starters based on the Blues’ teams so far this season.
The final slot has been shared around, with de Bruyne and Mata both being given opportunities to impress.
But the indications are that, once the international break is over, it is recent signing Willian who will be given opportunities to make the third spot his own.
