Sampdoria catch Genoa’s youth team goalkeeping coach spying on them
Sampdoria claim their have caught a Genoa spy ahead of this weekend’s derby clash between the two teams.
The Serie A outfit allegedly caught Luca De Pra, youth team goalkeeping coach at Genoa, hidden in trees near their training ground watching a closed training session.
De Pra was decked out in his camouflage gear and hiking boots trying to see what Sampdoria had planned for the match.
A statement on Sampdoria’s website reads: “Like a new Rambo hidden among the branches of the hill, Luca De Pra, goalkeeping coach of [Genoa]…, has not been able to counter the counter-intelligence and counter-espionage of Sampdoria. No prisoner[s were taken], however, even unnecessary bloodshed.
“Once tracked down and caught him with his hands in the infamous jam, the soldier on the other side was left free to return to their base. Moreover, you should always forgive your enemies: nothing annoys them more.”
