Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers says Luis Suarez return will improve Daniel Sturridge

Brendan Rodgers insists Luis Suarez’s return to Premier League action with Liverpool will only help in-form Daniel Sturridge, and not stifle his excellent start to the season.
England international Sturridge has been on an impressive goalscoring streak while starring as the Reds’ main striker. But Rodgers does not think Suarez’s comeback will have a negative effect on Sturridge.
He said: “I think it will only improve him and make him a better player. Good players want to play with other good players.
“I think you will see with how they will perform together that they can be a real threat. It is not something that Daniel or anyone else will be worried about, their focus is on the team.”
Suarez and Sturridge are both expected to feature in the game against Sunderland on Sunday.
