West Ham won’t be widening doors for ex-Man Utd youngster Ravel Morrison’s big head
They might be preparing for a move to the Olympic Stadium, where no doubt the doorways and corridors are a bit wider than Upton Park, but West Ham will not be widening them any further to accommodate Ravel Morrison’s big head.
Manager Sam Allardyce says he is working hard to keep the former Manchester United man’s feet on the ground after he scored his first Premier League goal against Everton at the weekend.
Allardyce said: “I think that at the moment his performances are exceptionally good and I think that doesn’t mean you have to fight for your place.
“If you’re good enough, you’re old enough, aren’t you? And he’s proven that already up to now.
“What we’ve got to do with Ravel is keep his feet firmly on the ground and watch for head-swelling.
“We don’t want to be changing the size of our doors because we can’t get his head through it.@
