Manchester City offer to triple Adnan Januzaj’s Manchester United wages
Manchester City plan to offer Adnan Januzaj a big money deal to quit rivals Manchester United.
Reports in the Metro suggest City plan to take advantage of the 18-year-old stalling over a new contract by offering him a £45,000-a-week deal to move across Manchester. That would triple his current United salary.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side could move for the highly-rated youngster in January.
And United boss David Moyes has already expressed concerns that people around the Belgian youngster could engineer a move away from Old Trafford.
He said: “Adnan is keen to stay, but he has some external influences round him.
“We really think an awful lot of him.”
Januzaj is starting to make an impression on Moyes’ first-team, including a substitute appearance in yesterday’s defeat to West Brom.
