James McCarthy happy to stay with Everton
James McCarthy has revealed he is happy with life at Everton and is seemingly ready to snub interest from Manchester United, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.
The former Wigan star was a stand-out performer for the Toffees last season as the club secured European qualification.
The Republic of Ireland international, who only joined Everton last summer in a £12m deal, sent the rumour mill into overdrive recently when he failed to rule out a move to United.
And now McCarthy has attempted to distance himself from a move away by insisting he is happy at the club.
“I’m enjoying life here. I feel part of the family. It’s a real family club and it’s great to be involved in,” he said.
“It’s been a year since I came but it feels a lot longer than that. It wasn’t easy coming to a big club like this and trying to adapt but at least I knew the style of play.”
