Spurs keeper Hugo Lloris admits he is worried about relegation
Tottenham ‘keeper Hugo Lloris has admitted he is worried about relegation after the club’s poor form this season.
Spurs have lost an astonishing four games out of six at home so far with the latest loss coming against Stoke City last weekend – a side that had not won away since August before.
And the French stopper says that with the club having had three coaches in the past year the blame for the side’s poor form must come down to the players.
“When it’s the third coach in a year and there are problems, perhaps it’s not necessarily the coach that is the problem. Even so, we work, we try to find solutions,” Lloris told l’Equipe.
“I have faith in the technical staff, in the coach. I had similar periods at Lyon, but at OL there was real pressure on a daily basis and crisis management.
“We are more on our own in London, where we are comfortable. We have to get ourselves out of that, because if we have to fight against relegation, comfort isn’t going to help us. It really worries me for the coach.”
