Video: Chelsea manager Guus Hiddink discusses John Terry injury ahead of PSG game
Chelsea boss Guus Hiddink told reporters why John Terry has not travelled to Paris Saint-Germain for tonight’s Champions League last-16 first leg.
The former England skipper picked up a hamstring injury in last weekend’s win over Newcastle. Hiddink says Terry was not in a position to travel let alone play and faces an uphill battle to be fit for this weekend’s FA Cup fifth round clash with Manchester City.
The Dutchman therefore decided to leave his captain at Cobham to receive medical treatment in his team-mates’ absence.
