Martin Skrtel calls Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp a ‘d*ckhead’, apologises
Liverpool defender Martin Skrtel has been forced to apologise after calling his manager Jurgen Klopp a “d*ckhead” on social media.
The Slovakia international signalled his approval for an Instagram comment levelling that accusation against Klopp.
Here’s the conversation between Instagram user pharrelski:
Skrtel: “Last hashtag is TOP 😄😄😄😄😄.”
pharrelski: “Hope Jurgen doesn’t see it.”
Skrtel: “Hope he does!”
But Skrtel later took to Instagram to issue an apology in which he claimed that a friend who helps to manage his social media accounts had got a bit carried away.
The 31-year-old centre-back is expected to leave Anfield, where he has played his football since 2008, this summer. Under Klopp, he fell down the pecking order and spent much of last season as fourth-choice centre-half, behind Mamadou Sakho, Dejan Lovren and Kolo Toure.
