Video: Arsene Wenger sparks Theo Walcott worries among Arsenal fans
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has created cause for concern among the club’s supporters after being recorded saying that in-form forward Theo Walcott is “not well”.
The Frenchman stopped to talk to fans as he left the Emirates Stadium after last night’s EFL Cup fourth round win over Reading.
Wenger can clearly be heard passing on the worrying news to a supporter leaning against his car.
It is not clarified whether the England international is suffering with an illness or if he has picked up an injury. The fact Wenger chose to mention it suggests he must be a doubt for the forthcoming league game against Sunderland.
