Manchester City get caught out by the Rory Delap throw-in AGAIN!

Time to throw the towel in

Last night’s FA Cup replay between Stoke and Manchester City was forced when the Potters grabbed an equaliser at Eastlands from a Rory Delap throw.

Indeed, before the two sides met in their recent league game, Shay Given said of Delap’s throw: “You see it every week on Match of the Day, you know what is coming, you know what to expect – but it is another thing dealing with it.”

Given’s words ending up being strangely prophetic. Not only were his side once again caught cold from a Delap throw, it was his poor decision-making that led to the goal!

Roberto Mancini’s side are now all but certain to end the season without silverware after a 3-1 extra-time defeat.
