Now Alex Ferguson bans youngsters from interviews
No boots and no cameras
After yesterday’s revelations that Sir Alex Ferguson has banned his youngsters from wearing coloured football boots, it has now emerged that the Manchester United boss has barred his young charges from talking to in-house television station MUTV.
Fergie has ordered the cameras to stay away from United’s under-18 squad following a recent poor run of form amid concerns that they being distracted from their footballing basics. United’s youngsters lost 3-0 to Blackburn in the FA Youth Cup and followed that successive league defeats against Liverpool and West Brom.
No word yet on whether the channels 27 subscribers plan to mount any protest.
