Arsenal suffer dressing room power cut ahead of Partizan Belgrade clash
Gunners in the dark before Champions League match
Arsenal had to conduct their final preparations for last night’s Champions League victory without lights after a power cut plunged their dressing room into darkness.
The Gunners squad were left using mobile phones to light up their path around the room and other parts of the stadium.
Midfielder Denilson took the opportunity to update his Twitter followers on proceedings. The power cut also affected the floodlights. Various sections of the stadium occasionally lost power before kick-off and the game was eventually played under just three floodlights.
But Arsenal did emerge 3-1 winners as Andrey Arshavin, Marouane Chamakh and Sebastien Squillaci got on the scoresheet.
