OTP celebrates 10 players at the Women’s World Cup who are never likely to win approval from Sepp Blatter for his vision of the women’s game.

1. Christine Sinclair (Canada)
In her days at FC Gold Pride, she shared a successful strike partnership with Marta. More recently, she’s been sharing a hairdresser with Forrest Gump.

2. Caroline Pizzala (France)
We’re not going to lie, we’re pretty sure Pizzala could take us in a fist fight. We also like the headband – really softens the look!

3. Birgit Prinz (Germany)
Surely the archetypal manly female footballer and also one of the few who has looked like she could give the lads a run for their money over the years.

4. Rita Chikwelu
Sunderland might want to check out Asamoah Gyan’s passport when he returns to the Stadium of Light. We reckon he has been doing a spot of moonlighting.

5. Amy Le Peilbet (USA)
Looks a bit like Justin Bieber’s soccer-loving older brother. Does that count as manly? All things are relative, we suppose.

6. Erika Vanegas (Mexico)
Yikes.

7. Melanie Behringer (Germany)
This missing Rooney brother.

8. Clare Polkinghorne
Not only has a fabulous name, but is also channelling the spirit of Perry Groves.

9. Ri Ye Gyong
Life in North Korea must be tough because, contrary to appearances, Ri is a 22-year-old woman and not a 50-year-old man. Must have been one of those struck by lightning.

10. Diana Ospina
Anyone who turned up to the photoshoot with a black eye they’ve made not attempt to disguise has got to be a bit of hard-nut.
