OTP’s Howard The Psychic Duck predicts… Portugal v Spain
Despite his run of correct predictions, it’s been a tough of couple of days for our Howard. Already living in a safe house after repeated kidnap attempts from leading sports bookmakers, he’s also become an overnight public enemy number one, having backed Italy to overcome England on Sunday.
Thankfully ducks’ instinctive aversion to fire means Howard has successfully avoided the mysterious flaming paper bags that have been left on his doorstep. Who knew simple mallards were such danger magnets?
After the two-day break, it’s back to business in Ukraine tonight as Portugal face Spain in a rematch of their 2010 World Cup last-16 game.
Among the many strikers Spain won’t be playing is David Villa – the man who scored the only goal in South Africa broke his leg earlier this year. Apparently, Portugal have quite a good attacking player as well, but his name escapes us.
But more importantly, can Howard continue with his remarkable prediction success rate, estimated at a whopping 93% by the mathematically challenged OTP Podcast boys?
There’s only one way to find out…
