Crawley Town to spend £35,000 on catering this summer
Whilst most lower league clubs will be curbing spending this summer given the lack of finances at such a level. Loan deals will be supplemented by youngsters and possible non-league prospects.
Crawley Town, however, seem to be operating on a different financial sphere to the rest, because they have announced plans to spend £35,000 on match day catering.
The club have surveyed fans who believe that the food at the Broadfield Stadium is poor, and chief executive Richard Low has announced the plans to spend a large sum of money on catering facilities and a change of menu.
Wonderful quote alert from Low: “Food is really important to the fans.” Well, yes, I guess it is.
