Report: Spurs and Real Madrid set Miami meeting to discuss Gareth Bale
Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy and Real Madrid president Florentino Perez have arranged a meeting in Miami to discuss Gareth Bale’s transfer, according to reports in the Spanish media.
El Confidencial claims Levy will meet Perez in Miami during Real’s tour of the USA. They say a meeting has been pencilled in for August 6 or 7.
The reports say that Levy is in Miami for personal reasons. It’s unclear whether El Confidencial is aware of his diary for the first week of August or if they are alluding to his holiday. If it’s the latter, reports in the UK media today suggest that Levy has come home early from his holiday to handle the Bale situation.
The meeting is to finalise a €100m deal – possibly includign Fabio Coentrao and Angel Di Maria – the article suggests.
