Tottenham boss Andre Villas Boas expecting more signings
Spurs manager Andre Villas Boas has said he expects the club to make more signings before the end of the transfer window.
Roberto Soldado, Paulinho, Nacer Chadli and Etienne Capoue have already arrived at White Hart Lane this summer at a cost of more than £60m. But Villas Boas is expecting to strengthen his squad further.
He said: “I think six weeks have gone by and we have not completed everything that we want to do.
“We’re changing our squad a lot. So these changes that we have made haven’t yet given us the possibility to work them together.
“So I would say that at the moment we are a great, great team but we are looking to further strengthen our squad to make it even better.”
Spurs have been linked with the likes of Roma winger Erik Lamela, Ajax playmaker Christian Eriksen and Anzhi midfielder Willian in today’s papers.
