Andre Villas Boas: ‘Spurs players’ careers are at risk’
Tottenham manager Andre Villas Boas says his players are being forced to jeopardise their careers by the scheduling of this season’s Capital One Cup.
Following tomorrow night’s Europa League clash with Tromso, Spurs face Cardiff City in the Premier League on Sunday just two days before their Capital One Cup third round clash with Aston Villa.
Villas Boas is less than impressed at the prospect of three games in six days.
He said: “How can a game be scheduled after two days, immediately putting the players’ careers at risk with injuries?”
