Video: Man City boss Manuel Pellegrini wary of Stoke’s aerial threat
Manchester City manager Manuel Pellegrini is getting into the swing of Premier League stereotypes by claiming he is concerned about Stoke’s aerial threat ahead of today’s match.
The Chilean’s side face the Potters at the Britannia Stadium today.
City have looked vulnerable from set-pieces this season, so Pellegrini seems to be in no doubt as to where Stoke might be able to cause problems.
He said: “Well, I know all that I need to know about Stoke City. I have followed their three games that they have played this year. I have all of the information of their different ways and that’s no any problem.
“I think they are a very strong team playing at home. They are very good also heading (in the air). They have important players like Peter Crouch inside the box and I think that exactly as in all the other games, we must do a very good game if we are to win away.”
