Chelsea star Oscar praises Jose Mourinho’s impact on him
Brazil international Oscar has praised Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho for improving him during their two years together.
The 23-year-old move to Stamford Bridge from Brazilian side Internacional in at £19.35m deal in 2012.
While not a Mourinho signing, he certainly feels like a Mourinho player.
He told Portuguese newspaper O Jogo: “He [Mourinho] has really helped me to grow. This season, he has said that I have been one of the best team, and when a coach like him says this, it’s very important.”
Oscar says the Blues boss is constantly trying to help him.
He continued: “Whether in practice or in games, he’s always helping me, explaining to me what he wants from me and I feel I have grown a lot in these two years we’ve been together.
“I’m in a good time and I think it is a great period of my life.”
