Arsenal’s Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain reveals Jack Wilshere has screw issues
Jack Wilshere’s latest injury scare is a minor issue caused by a screw in his ankle, according to Arsenal team-mate Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
Gooners will have feared the worst when it was touted that the England international will probably undergo another operation at the end of the season.
But midfield colleague Oxlade-Chamberlain says the problem only relates to a troublesome screw put in Wilshere’s ankle during a previous op.
He told The Times: “The news is that it is not too bad, he’s just getting a bit of pain in his ankle from a few screws.
“If you can bounce back from what he did, you can bounce back from anything.”
