Roberto Mancini is set to be named as the new Galatasaray manager later today.
The Italian, sacked by Manchester City towards the end of last season, has been in talks with the Turkish champions.
And the club are pretty confident of landing their man, even going as far as to post photographs on their social networking sites of Mancini sitting with their chief executive Lutfi Arıboğan.
A club statement said: “Galatasaray Sports Club has begun negotiating with Roberto Mancini for him to manage Galatasaray Professional Football Team. The public will be updated about the developments.”
Expect official confirmation that he will replace Fatih Terim, sacked for refusing to sign a contact extension, very soon.
