Edin Dzeko agrees terms with Roma but Man City holding out for £21m
Edin Dzeko has agreed terms with Roma but Manchester City are holding out for £21m before allowing him to complete his move, Talksport claim.
The two clubs are still haggling over the fee with the Italians having offered around £15m to take the Etihad outcast.
The former Premier League champions think they are in the driving seat, though, as they are in rush to sell. They are also adamant the striker, who scored 26 goals in 2013/14, will not leave on the cheap.
The Bosnian joined City for £27m from Wolfsburg back in 2011 with previous reports stating City would also want around £20m – freeing the club of his £140,000 a week wages.
Dzeko had his worst season at the club with him managing just six goals, though he only found the back of the net twice since September.
His position at the club has been put under the microscope following the £30m signing of Wilfried Bony who has replaced him in the pecking order.
