Sniffing out goals
The Easter Monday clash between Millwall and Peterborough was one of the craziest matches in English football for a while. As well as Aaron McLean’s exhibitionist show, there was a penalty retaken three times and, of course, Jason Price’s plastic nose.
The Lions striker had a very quick nosejob after finding the net against the Posh and celebrated with an artificial conk. He said: “The celebration was for a mate of mine in Manchester who has a big nose.
He ‘nose’ who he is.”
We won’t ask where he was keeping it before the goal.
