Open Championship Odds Analysis

Rory McIlroy is hailed as the favorite to win the 2024 Open Championship. Last year, he won the Hero Dubai Desert Classic on the European Tour along with the Genesis Scottish Open. In 2022, he came in third at the Open Championship. Mcllroy has won the British Open once, in 2014, and since he came so close last year, experts predict that he’s coming back for the title.

Scheffler has to be featured on our list of favorites; after all, he is the best-ranked golfer in the world. He won the Masters Tournament in 2022 and came in second at the U.S. Open. In 2023 , he finished in second place in the PGA Tournament, and now he’s getting ready for the Open Championship. Scheffler and Mcllroy are likely to fight for this year’s title.

Cameron Smith is fifth in the Open betting odds, but he is the defending champion. He’s currently in 30th on the official World Golf Rankings, but seeing as he managed to win last year, he might aim for two consecutive titles and emerge victorious, even though he’s the underdog.
