Video: Brazilian coach punches referee, barges opposition player

Hot-headed manager hits ref
There was nothing holy about the Easter clash between Brazilian lower league teams Comercial and Catanduvende as Comercial coach Pedro Santilli punched the referee. Santilli barged an opposition player - albeit there was no need for the player to be rolling around on the floor afterwards - before marching onto the pitch to give the ref a fat lip.
Santilli didn’t wait to be dismissed and stomped off the pitch with the ball still under his arm! After the match he publicly apologised for the incident, but referee Flavio Rodrigues de Souza refused to meet him for a face-to-face apology.
