You hear Premier League managers moan often enough because their team is being forced to play three games in eight days as the ‘business end’ of the season hits home, but spare a thought for poor Guernsey FC of the Combined Counties League Premier Division, who have a mammoth schedule on their plate.
Due to their continued involvement in cup competitions and many of their fixtures being postponed during the dreadful weather, they are being forced to play 17 games in 30 days in April. There are three times where players are being made to play three matches in three days in April, which is a gruelling schedule given that players also have full-time jobs.
Good luck lads, might be worth the club employing a couple of new masseurs?
