GIF It: Lionel Messi relieves some substitute's boredom (PSG 1-1 Barcelona)

It’s safe to say that Lionel Messi would rather be playing football than sitting on the bench.

His role as a substitute during the first-half of last night’s Champions League clash with PSG generated some interesting GIFs, not least the one above.

Such was Messi’s boredom, he even started pretending to be on a teenage cinema date with members of Barca’s backroom staff.

Despite carrying a hamstring injury, Messi came off the bench to set-up Pedro’s equaliser, which was was enough to secure Barca’s progress.
