Tottenham Hotspur striker Emmanuel Adebayor has been very publicly airing some family issues via his official Facebook page.
The Togolese star has taken the opportunity to share with the world some of the grievances he has against his mother, his brother Kola, his sister Yabo and other family members.
You can read the ins-and-outs of the situation in the Facebook posts, but it amounts to allegations of his family wanting money and assistance but being what Adebayor clearly perceives as being quite ungrateful when they get it.
The former Arsenal and Manchester City man says he has asked Chelsea legend Didier Drogba for advice on his problems and claims he told him to cut the family members off.
He said: “Recently, I sat down with the man himself and the main advice he gave me was to do what pleases me and what makes me happy. Moreover, I should also tell my family [@Kola Adebayor, @Roten De Lux Adebayor and @Lucia Adebayor] to go find a job to do.”
