The Emirates’ Mr Popular is booed by his ‘supporters’
To use local parlance, Emmanuel Eboue had a ‘mare against Wigan yesterday. He knew this, but just in case he didn’t the Arsenal supporters decided to let him know when he was substituted late in the game. The Ivory Coast international had only come into the game as a first-half substitute for the injured Samir Nasri.
Eboue could barely string a pass together, repetitively gave the ball away to Wigan, and at one point tackled team-mate Kolo Toure and passed the ball to a Wigan player! Watch the incident after the jump.
